DANGERS OF SELF EXPERIMENTATION IN LAL KITAB ASTROLOGY

How often do you perform any astrological remedy by reading it on internet? Do you always consult a skilled professional astrologer before undertaking remedies?
In the current era where World Wide Web has gained immense popularity many people are attracted to getting a quick and free solution to their problems relating to job, career, family, business, health, foreign travel etc without consulting a professional astrologer. In this process, they usually come across many websites and blogs that provide quick solutions to their problems by prescribing some remedies. There are many books that are being sold in the market giving totka or quick fix solutions to all problems. People go in for doing remedies searched on internet without realizing that such remedies may prove to be very costly for their future. This is known as Self experimentation in Astrology.

Through this post I would like to emphasize that this practice of self experimentation is dangerous for you. It can be detrimental to your career, health and may lead you in trouble due to the reason that astrological remedies need to be suggested by a professional astrologer looking at particular combinations of your horoscope. It is likely that referring to astrology blogs or websites instead of booking a specific consultation may save money and time to you in short term but it can lead to a grave misdiagnosis & may prove costly to you in long run. Only a professional astrologer can reason and figure out what your symptoms and horoscope readings is reflecting. This self experimentation is like self medication which is described as the human behavior of selecting and using medication to treat self diagnosed conditions.

In my everyday interaction with visitors and clients I have observed that this habit of self experimentation is far too common and most people are not aware of how a good astrology remedy can prove to be detrimental for a person who do not have deep knowledge of concepts of astrology and it can damage the career, health and family life of individuals doing the remedies without resorting to professional advice.  I would like to discuss some of the practical examples which I have come across with all of you to give an idea how perfect astrological remedies can be misdiagnosed by an individual leading to his or her loss. Recently a lady has contacted me for consultation as she was very depressed for her husband who has lost his job three months back. He was working in a real estate construction firm. Since then, her husband is trying to find a job. After carefully analyzing the chart of her husband, I asked her whether she has done any remedies before also. She told me that she has visited two to three websites where she read that when Saturn is in first house, it is advisable to bury surma in a deserted place. She performed this remedy as her husband was trying for promotion in his office but since doing this remedy, she told that her husband lost job. Now this was a classic example of doing remedies prescribed on internet without analyzing horoscope. Lal Kitab says that Saturn in first house can be three times benefic or three times malefic. Saturn is considered as benefic in first house when House number 3, 7 and 10 are not occupied by planets inimical to Saturn. It is considered as malefic when Sun, Moon or Mars are in 7th house. In the case of that lady’s husband horoscope, Saturn was benefic and she buried surma which is an article connected with Saturn in a deserted place. Saturn was not giving any adverse impact by its placement while it was giving beneficial results instead to the native. Through burying surma in deserted place, such beneficial results were deprived. Another example of a person who visited me one month before is also discussed here. His Rahu was in 5th house in varshphal. He consulted a website that prescribed that if Rahu is in 5th house, an individual can get rid of any problem associated with it by flowing 500 gram barley in a river. Lal Kitab in this context state that before prescribing any remedy for varshphal relating to Rahu, position of Sun should be seen. Sun was posited in fourth house in that year and the consequence of doing the remedy was that he suffered problems relating to heart and angioplasty was performed. The motive of citing some examples to you is to clarify that before doing astrological remedies, it is always safe to consult a professional astrologer otherwise self experimentation may lend you in trouble also.  There are many websites that suggest donating items relating to planets like Saturn, Mars, Venus etc. The principle of Lal Kitab is that if a planet is exalted in your horoscope, you should refrain from donating any item pertaining to such planet. When you read online remedies, you do not know the position of planets in your horoscope and you may indulge in some remedies that may prove to be disastrous for you. This is the reason we ensure that all our articles contains only those remedies which can be performed by all and if the remedies are for specific combinations, it is clearly advised to consult a professional astrologer before doing those remedies.

JANMASTHAMI IN 2018 – 2nd OR 3rd SEPTEMBER – WHEN TO CELEBRATE, HOW TO CELEBRATE AND REMEDIES TO BE DONE FOR GETTING LORD KRISHNA BLESSINGS

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO MARK YOUR ATTENDANCE BY WRITING JAI SHRI KRISHNA OR RADHEY RADHEY IN THIS DIVINE DARBAAR OF LORD KRISHNA

Krishna Janmashtami is the celebration of the birth of Lord Shri Krishna, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who is believed to have been born about five thousand years ago in Mathura in 'Dwapar Yuga'. Krishna Janmashtami is also known as Ashtami Rohini, Srikrishna Jayanti, Krishnashtami, Saatam Aatham, Gokulashtami and sometimes simply as Janmashtami.
Every year usually there is a conflict as to the day on which Janmashtami should be celebrated. This year is also not an exception as some people are observing it on 2nd September while some are celebrating it on 3rd September. Through this post, I would clarify all the doubts and will suggest the date on which it should be celebrated.

Janmashtami this year is listed for 2nd and 3rd September 2018. The first one is for Smartha Sampradaya and other one is for Vaishanava Sampradaya. Vaishanava Sampradaya date is the latter one, i.e. 3rd September 2018.
First of all you must understand the difference between Smartha and Vaishnava Sampradaya. There are lots of people who do not know the real difference between these two sects and unnecessarily create confusion in the minds of readers about the way festivals have to be celebrated.
Let us first start with “Smartha” (which sometimes is also spelt as “Smarta”) sect. It is a Sanskrit word, which denotes the “smartha sampradayat”, a liberal or nonsectarian tradition or denomination of the Vedic Hindu religion, which accepts all the major Hindu deities as forms of the one Brahman, in contrast to Vaishnavism, Shaivism, and Shaktism, the other three major Hindu sects, which revere Vishnu, Shiva, and Shakti, respectively, as the Supreme Being. The adherents who follow the Vedas and Shastras are, in this regard, called Smarta. Smartas are, therefore, followers and propagators of Smriti or religious texts derived from Vedic scriptures. Smarta religion is practiced by people who believed in the authority of the Vedas as well as the basic premise of puranas. Smartas believe that the worshiper is free to choose a particular aspect of God to worship, to the extent that the worship practices do not contradict the Vedas and the Smritis. Sri Adi Shankara fathered the Smartha sampradayat.
By contrast, the Vaishnavite regards Sri Krishna (or Krsna) or Vishnu as the only true God, who is worthy of worship, and that all other forms as his subordinates. Accordingly, the Vaishnavite, for example, believe that only Krishna or Vishnu can grant the ultimate salvation for mankind, “moksha”.
People who are not the followers of Vaishnavism are followers of Smartism. Hindu religious texts like Dharmasindhu and Nirnaysindhu have well defined rules to decide Janmashtami day and those rules should be followed to decide Janmashtami day if one is not the follower of Vaishnava Sampradaya. In Smartha sect, the preference is given to Nishita or Hindu midnight. It may be either Saptami Tithi or Ashtami Tithi, but it is ensured that Ashtami Tithi prevails during Nishita and further rules are added to include Rohini Nakshatra also. The final consideration is given to the day which has the most auspicious combination of Ashtami Tithi and Rohini Nakshatra during Nishita time. Janmashtami day according to Smarta rules always fall on Saptami or Ashtami Tithi on Hindu calendar. According to Smartha sect rules, Janmashtami this year should be celebrated on 2nd September 2018 while Vaishnavs are celebrating it on 3rd September 2018. The followers of Vaishnavism never observe Janmashtami on Saptami Tithi. Janmashtami day according to Vaishnava rules always fall on Ashtami or Navami Tithi on Hindu calendar.
MY SUGGESTION
I hope you will be able to get the difference between Smartha and Vaishnav and if we look at 2018 panchang, it can be clearly seen that Janmashtami should be celebrated on 2nd September 2018 as Ashtami Tithi on which Lord Krishna was born and Rohini Nakshatra both are prevailing on 2nd September while Ashtami tithi will end at 7.19 pm on 3rd September 2018.
Nishita Puja Time = 23:57 (11.57 pm) to 24:43+ (12.43 am)
Duration = 0 Hours 46 Mins
Ashtami Tithi Begins = 20:47 (8.47 pm) on 2/Sep/2018
Ashtami Tithi Ends = 19:19 (7:19 pm) on 3/Sep/2018
Fast also has to be kept on 2nd September because at 12.00 in the night, Lord Krishna was born and we are keeping fast for HIM only. On the contrary if we celebrate Janmashtami on 3rd September, Ashtami Tithi and Rohini Nakshatra will not be available at 12.00 in the night.
Still I would say that amid the confusion created by so called sects and organizations, you can attain full benefit by celebrating Lord Krishna’s birthday on both dates. It is an opportunity for you to worship Him and to get His blessings. Make the most of it and do not fall in trap of people who create confusion in your mind.
How to Celebrate Janmasthami
Now coming to the point of the way in which this festival should be celebrated. I think the festival is an opportunity for us to thank Him for all that He has given to us. As we enjoy attention and fun on our birthday, so does Lord also enjoys our attention on His appearance day. Worship Him in a way that you can relate yourself with the lord and in this love and devotion you will get immense happiness and satisfaction. People also keep fast on this day and if you want you can keep fast also.
1. First of all you can decorate your home for Lord Krishna. Clean your home thoroughly and invite Lord to come to your house. It would be fun, particularly for children. Encourage them in helping to make garlands, hanging balloons and festoons of leaves, and making the house beautiful for Krishna’s appearance.
2. Listen to Lord Krishna Bhajans and recite Mahamantra of Lord.
3. If you have Radha-Krishna deities, get extra special new outfits for them. Exercise your creativity and pay special attention to decorating their altar. Hold Abhisheka bathing ceremony for your deities. Simply buy different liquids like yogurt, honey, ghee and fruit juices and bathe the deity with them while singing devotional songs.
4. You must cook one special dish for the Lord which should be offered to Lord and then taken as Prasad by you. Imagine that Krishna is actually right near you in your house and you are offering this dish to Him.
5. Meditate as long as possible on this day and you can recite Lord Mahamantra also. Visit any Lord Krishna temple if possible and immerse yourself in the presence of Lord there.
6. You can bring a cake for the lord. It should be an eggless cake. Cut the cake in the midnight at 12 o Clock and have midnight Aarti (worship ceremony) with a kirtan. This is the exact time that Krishna appeared on this planet, so it is most auspicious and spiritually inspiring
7. Krishna has an immense love for cows. On the birthday of Lord Krishna, you must feed cows.
You can offer anything like bread, green grass, chapati or anything which you think would be liked by the cows. This would definitely give you mental peace, satisfaction and happiness and would also improve your planet Venus.

HAPPY NAG PANCHAMI 2018 – DO NOT MISS THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET RELIEF FROM KAAL SARPA AND RAHU DOSHA

DATE - 15TH AUGUST, 2018

Nag Panchami is celebrated on Panchami of Shukla Paksh in Sharavan Masa.Nag Panchami should be celebrated with full devotion and Lord Shiva should be offered abhishek with milk mixed water or clear water. For those lucky people who have Narmadeshwar Shiv linga at their house, it is an opportunity to offer milk or kheer to Shivlinga along with bel patra.
It would remove the ill effects of Kaal Sarpa Dosha and Rahu dosha in the horoscope.
Nag panchami and Kal Sarpa dosha are associated with each other. According to Hindu Astrology – Nag Panchami day is very auspicious to do pooja for serpents (Nag) and to remove Kaal Sarpa dosha in kundali. (Kaal Sarpa dosha happens when all planets come in the axis of Rahu and Ketu). This dosha casts adverse results in one’s life, incurs pain and put hindrances in all the works of the native.

It is believed that any Puja offered to snakes would reach to the serpent Gods. Hence people worship live snakes on the day as representative of serpents Gods who are revered and worshipped in Hinduism. Although there are several serpent Gods, following twelve are worshipped during Nag Panchami Puja -
Ananta
Vasuki
Shesha
Padma
Kambala
Karkotaka
Ashvatara
Dhritarashtra
Shankhapala
Kaliya
Takshaka
Pingala

On this day, Devotees visit temples which are dedicated to snakes to worship them. The temples of Lord Shiva are much preferred as he had a liking for snakes. In South India, snake images are carved out of cow dung and pasted near doors to welcome the snake god. Some of the devotees visit the holes of the anthills since they feel snakes are found in them.
On the day of Nag Panchami, having a vision of snake is considered auspicious. Snakes are considered as the incarnation of power and sun. It is said that, the one who worship God snake on Panchami of Shravan maas will be free from Naag Dosh. On Naag Panchami, fast is kept in order to make Snake God happy. In this fast, after the sunset and whole day fasting, Kheer is prepared as an offering for snake God while worshiping it. First of all the Kheer is offered to God snake or to Lord Shiva, and then eaten as Prashad (offering from God), by everyone. In this fast, intake of salt and fried things is prohibited. The person keeping the fast should follow all the rules.
On the day of Naag Panchami, people keeping fast, make a sculpture of snake with cow dung, having five heads, on both side of house’s threshold. Red soil can also be used if, in case cow dung is not available. After this, Snake God is worshiped with milk, grass, Kusha, sandalwood, Akshat(rice used in worshiping),flower, sweet(Ladoo) and Naag source or following Naag mantras are chanted
” ऊँ कुरुकुल्ये हुँ फट स्वाहा”

Chanting this mantra on rosary, three times, pleases the snake God. The fragrance of sandalwood is especially dear to Serpent God. Hence, sandalwood should be used while worshiping. White lotus is used in today’s prayer. Chanting of the above mentioned mantras, reduces the inauspicious effect of Kaalsarpa Yoga that is, the pacification of Kaal Sarpa Yoga.

What Not to Do on Nag Panchami(Very Important)

On the day of Naag Panchami, Snake God should not be fed with milk. Worshipers, if desire can make the Shiva Linga have a milk bath. Knowing that, drinking of milk can kill a snake, in such a situation feeding them with milk is like killing your God with your hands. Hence, avoid this mistake because snakes don’t drink milk, and if they do and are unable to digest it, they die. So basically instead of praying to the snakes or actually revering them, we might in fact be killing them by providing them milk. Some people may ask why the snake would drink milk if Milk is a mammal drink and not required or usually drank by snakes (it isn’t for reptiles) and if it kills them. The answer is that Snake-charmers usually don’t give their snakes water and food for a while before Nag Panchami. So, on that particular day, when the snakes find access to milk they drink it to soothe their parched throats and to satisfy their hunger. Essentially, they have no choice but to drink the milk for it is almost a matter of survival. And then, if they digest it, well and good… let’s hope they don’t drink it again, but if they don’t.. you have just caused another being of this earth his/her brutal death. So, please next time anyone feels like revering snakes or wants to adhere to the true spirit of Nag Panchami, leave some water out please. It will probably serve the snake better.
Happy Nag Panchami
