CELEBRATE NAG PANCHAMI AND GET RELIEF FROM KAAL SARPA DOSHA

About Nag Panchami festival, traditions and removal of kaal sarpa dosha
Nag Panchami is celebrated on Panchami of Shukla Paksh in Sharavan Masa. This year, the festival will be celebrated on 7th August. On this day, worshiping Lord Shiva, the holder of serpent, is considered very auspicious. On this day, I would advise you to first of all do the pooja of Lord Shiva and offer Shiva linga an abhishek with milk mixed water or clear water. It would remove the ill effects of Kaal Sarpa Dosha in the horoscope. This day is very auspicious to install Narmadeshwar Shiv linga in your house. If you have it installed in your house, worship it with full devotion and it will fulfill all your dreams and wishes. People who have installed energized Narmadeshwar Shivlinga in their house are able to ward off the evil effects of Kaal sarpa dosha as Shiva Purana says, “Just by having a glimpse of Narmadeshwar Shiv linga you get the blessings of Lord Shiva”.
Nag panchami and Kal Sarpa dosha are associated with each other. Kaal Sarpa dosha happens when all planets come in the axis of Rahu and Ketu. This dosha casts adverse results in one's life, incurs pain and put hindrances in all the works of the native. The natives who are affected by Kaal Sarpa Dosha have to work harder than other people to attain success in life. Since, there are twelve houses in birth-chart, so Kaal Sarpa Dosha can be formed in twelve different ways. This condition is generally considered to be a troublesome and problematic one for any person. Nag Panchami day is considered as very auspicious to do pooja for serpents (Nag) and to remove Kaal Sarpa dosha in kundali.

Astrological remedies and pooja that should be done on Nag Panchami
There are many legends associated with this day especially the story of Lord Krishna winning over Kaliya Naga. I will not discuss the story here but would like to give you some small tips and remedies that you should do to get the benefit of this day.
1.      First of all as I advised you above that you should start your pooja by worshipping Lord Shiva. For this purpose, you can abhishek Shiva linga with milk/water. You can also offer bel patra to the shivlinga.
2.      Secondly, if you want you can keep a fast on this day. In this fast prepare a Kheer and offer it to Shiva linga and remaining kheer is eaten as Prasad. In this fast, intake of salt and fried things is prohibited.
3.      Thirdly, you should chant the following mantras of Rahu and Ketu for removing Kaal Sarpa dosha and other sarpa dosha related problems in your horoscope:
Mantras of Rahu
“Aum rahave namah”
“Aum rang rahave namah aum”
Chant this mantra at least 108 times using energized rudraksha mala
Mantras of Ketu
"Om kem ketve namah"
Chant this mantra at least 108 times using energized rudraksha mala
THE ABOVE MANTRAS CAN ALSO BE CHANTED BY THOSE PERSONS WHO DO NOT HAVE KAAL SARPA DOSHA IN THEIR HOROSCOPE. THEY WOULD BE BENEFITTED BY ENSURING REDUCTION IN MALEFIC EFFECTS OF RAHU AND KETU IF ANY IN THEIR HOROSCOPE.
After the above mantras, you can also do one mala of following Naag Mantra:
Sarva naagah Preeyatnam mey yey Kechit Prithvithaley,
Yey cha helimarichistha yentary Divi Samastitah
Yeh Nadeeshu Mahanga Ye Saraswati gaaminah,
Yeh cha vapee tadagashu tishu sarveshu vai namah.

What Not to Do on Nag Panchami (Very Important)
On the day of Naag Panchami, Snakes should not be fed with milk. Worshipers, if desire can make the Shiva Linga and abhishek it with milk. Knowing that, drinking of milk can kill a snake, in such a situation feeding them with milk is like killing your God with your hands. Hence, avoid this mistake because snakes don’t drink milk, and if they do, they are usually unable to digest it and they die. So basically instead of praying to the snakes or actually revering them, we might in fact be killing them by providing them milk. Some people may ask why the snake would drink milk if Milk is a mammal drink and not required or usually drank by snakes (it isn’t for reptiles) and if it kills them. The answer is that Snake-charmers usually don’t give their snakes water and food for a while before Nag Panchami. So, on that particular day, when the snakes find access to milk they drink it to soothe their parched throats and to satisfy their hunger. Essentially, they have no choice but to drink the milk for it is almost a matter of survival. And then, if they digest it, well and good… let’s hope they don’t drink it again, but if they don’t.. you have just caused another being of this earth his/her brutal death. So, please next time anyone feels like revering snakes or wants to adhere to the true spirit of Nag Panchami, leave some water out please. It will probably serve the snake better.

For the benefit of all people associated with us, I am sharing a photo of Nagchandreshwar temple Ujjain which is a unique manifestation of Hindu God Shiva and this rare murti of Shiva is located on the third storey of the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. This rare murti of Shiva as Nagchandreshvar is open to darshan only on the Nagpanchami day in Shravan month. Nagchandreshwar darshan happens in a year only on the fifth day of the Shukla Paksha of Shravan month. In this form Hindu God Shiva is more associated with the Nagas (Snakes) and Chandra (Moon). Thousands of devotees arrive on the day at Mahakaleshwar Temple to have darshan of Shiva as Nagchandreshwar.
Om Namah Shivay.
May Lord SHIVA MAKE ALL HAPPY & prosperous!
Happy Nag Panchami.
